Mi4i Heating issue
We all new it is the upgraded version of Mi4 which is the flagship
Android smartphone from Xiaomi, the Chinese smartphone giant. Mi4i comes
with 5 inch screen, IPS LCD Capacitive touchscreen, 1080x1920
resolution, Android 5.02 Lollipop, 2GB RAM, 16GB Internal memory, Quad
core 17 Ghz processor, 13MP primary/rear camera and 5MP secondary
camera.
Mi4i Battery not removable :-
The main thing to be noted that it comes with a battery that can not be
removed from the phone. Many feel this is the biggest minus point for Mi
4i device.

Root Mi 4i Android Phone
- Disclaimer: Please backup before rooting your phone. If not done properly then you may brick your phone. The steps here may not work for everyone if not followed correctly.
- Initially one need to download Xiaomi Mi 4i Phone manager on your PC and also install it.
- Make sure the device is completely charged before starting the rooting process. It should not get switched off during this procedure otherwise it will get bricked.
- Now download ROM to your phone internal memory. Get ROM here
- Open Updater App on your phone and select "Reboot to Recovery mode".
- Now you will enter into recovery menu.
- The touchscreen will not work at this stage.
- Now we got to use Volume buttons (up, down) and also the Power button simultaneously to navigate and select the required options.
- Select English language to continue from the recover mode.
- Now select "Wipe and reset" and then 'Wipe Cache"
- Now install the Developer ROM by choosing "Install Zip system one" item.
- After that your phone gets rebooted.
- Then open "Security" app and then "Permissions".
- Now enable "Root permission".
That is all you have to do with your phone. Xiaomi Mi4i is now rooted.
